Management at Delta, the most profitable airline, announces 5% pay increase in attempt to stop our union organizing

April 26, 2024 - Delta earned $4.6 billion last year, more than United, American, Southwest, and Alaska airlines combined. With all those profits, it seems like they should have plenty of money to pay their employees, including Endeavor Flight Attendants – you know, the ones who made these sky-high profits possible – what they’re owed, right? Wrong.

This week, Delta management announced a meager 5% pay increase for all non-union mainline employees, including Flight Attendants. And Delta Flight Attendants are seeing right through it.

Between taking away their Monthly Override Pay for spring and summer, eliminating vacation buybacks this year, and increasing health insurance premiums, the 5% pay increase feels a lot more like a pay cut.

And as Southwest Flight Attendants ratified their new contract this week, it’s become increasingly clear that joining our Flight Attendant Union is the only way for Delta Flight Attendants to get what they’re owed. And raise the standards for all of Aviation’s First Responders!
